Joe Riekena, Head Golf Professional for over 20 years, Riekena has dedicated himself to growing the game he loves. After starting his career in Scottsdale, Arizona, Riekena quickly moved up the ranks of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Apprentice program and was hired as an Assistant Professional at Braemar Golf Course, in his native state of Minnesota. Yearning for a full golf season in a warmer climate, Riekena relocated to Hilton Head South Carolina as the First Assistant Head Professional at Oakatie Creek Golf Club. He was soon promoted to Head Professional upon obtaining his PGA Class A certification.

Soon after, he was recruited by the Del Webb Corporation to start up the golf operations at the newly created Anthem Country Club in Henderson, Nevada. Following the successful completion of that project, Riekena continued his journey west and took the Head Professional position at Brookside Country Club in Stockton California. He flourished in his day-to-day duties, but his crowning achievement at Brookside was hosting three Canadian Tour events.

Riekena was named Head Pro at Pacific Grove in 2006.
