This Multi Course General Manager position, oversees daily operations at Pacific Grove and Laguna Seca, this position
has the ability to grow into a Senior Operations role within CourseCo Inc, in overseeing additional courses in the future.
Job functions include: development and management of golf operations budget; training and supervision of outside and
inside golf operations staff; tee sheet and POS management. Position is directly responsible for management of all
departmental functions including range and cart operations, tournaments, marshals, food & beverage staff and
merchandising. General Manager will to coordinate the formation of player development programs. Position will ensure
desired level of customer service is met at all times.
We are looking for a full time Equipment Mechanic/Shop Manager at Pacific Grove Golf Links in beautiful Pacific Grove, Ca.
The Equipment Mechanic reports to the Superintendent and oversees a comprehensive maintenance program. Duties include but are not limited to:
* The repair of broken or failing equipment
* Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of maintenance facility
* Keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain equipment
* Ordering parts and supplies for equipment or service
* Assisting employees who service equipment
He/she is required to have a working knowledge of light and heavy golf course equipment. This includes both gas and diesel operated equipment. He/she must be skilled in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, and have the ability to utilize them when making various types of mechanical repairs. He/she must be know how to diagnose mechanical troubles, and how to determine appropriate repairs. In addition, he/she should have the ability to communicate effectively and keep business records.
•Daily: Check fluid levels in all equipment being used
•Daily: Check fuel supply and record, monitor meter wells, order fuel when needed
•Daily: Adjust reel to bedknife contact for precise adjustment and cut
•Daily: Examine equipment for signs of oil leaks, worn hoses or steel lines
•Maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment
•Purchasing of repair parts and replacement supplies
•Grind or lap cutting units when needed
•Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of hydraulic and electrical mechanical problems
•Maintenance of shop building
Owning your own tools is a plus!
